American Racing
Hey guys. I'm looking to buy some new rims for my 05 Rubicon this spring. I have always been a huge fan of hot rods so I did some homework and figured that the American Racing Torq Thrust D would look pretty damn good in 15x8.5 with a -25 offset.
They make a 4.5X5 bolt pattern and have a load rating of 1840 lbs. I'm not planning on doing any heavy wheeling with my rig. I am however planning on running 33x12.50 tires.

Just curious if anyone knows if they would not be suitable for a jeep?
I know they are RWD wheels, but I figured it would be suitable for a 4x4

No problems with that wheel at all. Should look pretty rockin once you get them on there.

These are the exact specs of the wheels I am looking at.
15" x 8.5" (rim size)
-25 (offset)
3.77 (backspacing)
5x114.3 (bolt pattern)

From what I just learned on the forum sticky about backspacing and offset, this rim will be stuck out rather far from the fenders. (This is what I was aiming for.) I am planning on running 6' flares to keep things legal, but can anyone let me know if my thinking/logic is correct? Sorry if I sound uninformed. Thank-you in advance :)

Dose anyone know how much the rims will stick out?

The Rubi's have 31x10.5 tires on them with the stock rims which are between 4.5 and 5" of backspacing. SO, with 33's your tires will be an inch wider on each side, and the difference in the rims is about an inch to an inch and a half, giving you a grand total of roughly sticking out 2-2.5" past where yours currently end.
