I ordered a pair on Saturday from the same seller. I'm just waiting for them to be shipped.

neeb_usmc 12-16-2013 10:08 AM

I'm curious as to how these look installed. Please upload pictures. I need an upgrade

monkeychow 12-16-2013 10:11 AM

make sure you read the fine print. it says the "anti-flickering" harness that you need for the Jeep is not included. most other companies include that in the sale.

JoeRaj 12-16-2013 11:56 AM

I am watching that too, Please post the pictures as soon as you receive it. Thanks

Just installed mine. Got them from Northridge, $419, with anti flick cables, free shipping. New and no risk.

It usually cost extra to have the anti-flicker harness included.

BearDown27 12-16-2013 07:23 PM

I saved a few bucks buying the trucklites and anti flicker harness separate. The seller in eBay charges sales tax if shipped to Illinois.

I will not worry about buying from that seller, they will be the same trucklite every other shops are selling. Make sure you get the anti-flicker harness. I've been looking for trucklite also a month or 2 ago and found ebay is the cheapest where I can get them. Some people have loyalty to some online stores but I don't.

I ended up just getting a pair of Philips Xtreme Vision (100% more?) is a little improvement over the stock bulb in the meantime. I'm kinda surprised there are no new players in the market considering the brightness of LED chips have been going up and cost have been going down quite significantly. Price of LED bulbs used at home have at least dropped 50% in a year but Trucklite and JW Speaker are still about the same price.

I buy stuffs from eBay all the time and I also have sold hundreds of stuffs on eBay. Check the feedback of sellers and if they have thousands of positive feedbacks they will be most likely authentic sellers. Every volume sellers will have some bad cases which isn't a big deal.

Moonrider 12-16-2013 10:28 PM

I think you are safe to go forward. I ve been watchin this seller on Ebay. He/she sells a lot and the price is the best ive seen so far. Make sure you buy anti flicker harness separate from also ebay-its $30 a piece.

Last, please don't buy them all guys, leave some for me im still debating whether i should get them now or next year :)

AverageJK 12-17-2013 09:39 AM

I bought a pair last night, sucks I had to pay sales tax on top of it.

Deceptionz99 12-17-2013 10:07 AM

Yea I had to pay sales tax too. Its the new law buying online. I just purchased some so ill post some pictures when they come in.

BearDown27 12-17-2013 11:54 AM

My just got shipped today. It was still a good deal with the tax included. I'll post when they arrive.

I asked my clearbra installer about that recently and he said it will be fine. He is an authorized Xpel dealer.

wranglerevo 12-18-2013 12:23 AM

I also picked up a pair from ebay.

Now the question remains...who sells the cheapest anti-flicker harness???

AverageJK 12-18-2013 08:38 AM

I haven't found it less then $60 yet.

Deceptionz99 12-19-2013 04:06 PM

Bought the anti flicker harness for 60 bucks from northridge 4x4 yesterday. The just showed up. It was free shipping too. Wow thats impressive

JKatfish 12-19-2013 04:16 PM

Yeah, Northridge is fast and efficient....one reason i like to deal with them....install should be a puece of cake now! Did mine in 1/2 hour, taking it slowly!

Deceptionz99 12-19-2013 04:22 PM

Good good. My truck lites are predicted to be in monday!

TRAUMAhead 12-19-2013 04:47 PM

Anyone opting to go with RallyLight's harness instead?

BigSkyJeep 12-19-2013 05:52 PM

you guys with the TL's, can you tell me if you are impressed with the high beams specifically? Do they blow the stock high beams away or is it just a mild improvement? I ask because someone on another thread just bought the Speakers and was disappointed in the high beam output. Said it was not that big a difference (on the Speakers) switching from low to high.

From what I have read I heard the truck lite low beam compared to stock is a decent upgrade. But the truck lite high beam is phenomenal and makes the stock high beams look like poop.

Dusthol 12-19-2013 06:02 PM

The high beams are great. Road signs are blinding with high beams. Ive had mine for a year now. No issues with scratches. Snow builds up every so often but I just clear them before I take off. I do need the anti flicker harness. Its getting more noticeable.

Awesome, ty! Was really shocked to hear that the high beams on the Speakers are not that great (especially for the $$$ they cost).

JKatfish 12-19-2013 07:44 PM

I was impressed with the high beams. I dont think it bothered the oncoming much at all, but it sure lit up the road ahead! Low beams were much better than stock, but i agree, the highs were fantastic!
