where is the ecu located?

I was planning on changing my ecu but I don't even know where to begin looking. I have a 94 yj with 2.5.

look on the firewall under the hood. right in front of the driver.

If it is anything like my 92, I still haven't found the &$)# thing.

x-2, its right below the Clutch master cylinder to the right facing the drivers side. You will have to remove the washer tank and expansion tank to get at easily.

Just a suggestion to aid you going forward, buy one a Haynes. They have editions targeting more specific years, but here's one that covers the gamut (Well, except for the JK). It's less than $20 brand new, and it will help with most basic information you need.
