im always ready for moab, but the jeep on the other hand.....

myself and some friends are trying to head down for easter, but it looks like some of us wont be able to get the time off. so it might be the following weekend when we make our first appearance of '09

Headed for Moab next week. Just joined the forum today.

Hi,

Here in SLC... two Wranglers, a Commander and a Grand C... Only the wranglers will see the outback. The TJs aren't built up, and most likely will stay fairly stock... but they go just fine and the 03 likes dirt!

Maybe down to Moab next weekend... we'll see how timing works out. Last time there I drove from spot to spot, ran a few miles (I'm a runner) and then moved to the next interesting place to run. Ran all the places in Arches almost.

youre too late

toplessartist 05-19-2009 04:45 PM

AaaaaChHTpppttt!!! It's never too late to go play! ... well, I never....

Actually, I just like the semi-solitude and could do without the crowds of people in monster rigs. Not my cuppa... The views are phenomenal and the air is clean... and a few days without computers and phones is a good thing!

I just got back into a jeep. I picked this TJ up last month. Now I have as much fun getting my dirtbike to the trails as I do riding them. I installed the safari rack. I have hopes that it will grow into a real mean machine in the future.

jcf 07-28-2009 01:00 AM

Nice Jeep jake, I like the color. Keep in touch with the forum we have a lot of great people with good information :wavey:

toplessartist 07-30-2009 05:40 PM

Anyone up for a BBQ in the near future? Suggestions on when and where would be good. I'll even start the ball rolling.....

***arbitrary date, but it's a start... we could move it based on input.***

Saturday... September 5th..... up in the Mirror Lake area (cooler, and very pretty).

If this works let us know.. if NOT let us know what day would work.

spanky 08-03-2009 05:33 PM

i like the idea of a bbq, but unfortunately i dont think we would have that big of a turnout. there just arent that many utah members here.

newbie here!

New to the forum, but have owned a lot of jeeps. This is the first one that I have that I can really use. Its not my daily driver so Im good with it being big and tough. Still working on the tough part though. I have a 6" lift with 35s, but that is pretty much it. Everything else is stock. Eventually I will regear it.

I would love to hang and do some trails with you guys.
