No sound from a speaker in the soundbar.

I have recently removed the factory speakers in the soundbar and replaced them with Sony 5.25 speakers. However after connecting the speakers to the radio, there is no sound (or very little sound from the right-rear (passenger side)).

Does anyone know the possible solution to this irritating problem?

I have checked all connections, power, impedance, and nothing is wrong with the speaker. The radio is also new, which has no issues.

is there a possibility that your stereo may need adjusted? as in maybe playing out of only the left channel? have u checked to see if your front right speaker is working?

I have checked all four speakers independently and separate (as in front-fade, rear-fade) right balance, left balance. All still have the right-rear (soundbar speaker) with little to no audio. I also disconnected the center-console subwoofer/amp to see if it made any difference, still the same issue.

Well test the site first, get an old speaker and plug it in....if you get sound you know the new speaker is bad. If you still don't get sound it's time to start back tracking.

this is what i would also do, try one of your old speakers to see if you get sound.

you may follow your wires back from that speaker. if you soundbar hooks up to a harness you may check there too. worst case scenario, if you cant find a connection problem, it may be an issue with the head unit

Thank you everyone who posted help, i found the solution. The speaker was ultimately bad, and I replaced with a new set. Thanks again.

Glad we could help, and thankfully your problem was the speaker and not something more difficult
