Today was a beautifull day so we went out for a drive as hubby has a bad back & can't walk much, we didn't walk trails but had a fantastic day just pokin' around in my Jeep. We took "Willow flats" road which is north of Moab, runs into the back of "Arches nat' park". Along the way we saw dinosour prints in the rock.(did not get a photo', b/c I am a dummy!) However here are a couple of pic's of the area. These are all taken in the park & is just a small portion of what it has to offer, if you ever come to Moab be sure to visit the park. It is higher than the town itself so still has some snow around. The day was so warm the snow was melting making small waterfalls everywhere, very pretty.

Moab is planned for September for us. Trip is one big loop. Meeting with friends in San Francisco for a weekend, heading to Ely, then to Moab, and ending the trip in Ouray before heading home.
We’ve been before, but it’s been many years. Those pics bring back memories.

Hmm doing "Black bear pass" Peco? we went to Telluride last year it's pretty, saw the house on the waterfall & went through Ouray but there was too much snow to complete the pass. I just found these, you should have a great trip :wavey:

We did Black Bear about 20 years ago and had a great time doing it. Not sure if we’ll do it in September or July. We try to do Ouray a couple times a summer.

Great pics. Thanks for sharing. Nothing like that on the east coast (or maybe anywhere).
