Wrangler bottoming out
My 05 TJ with 65k miles seems to have a worn out suspension. The rear end bottoms out very easily. I am thinking its the springs, but that seems early in the cars life to do that?? I am the second owner, and bought it at 40k miles and it seems to be getting worse. I havent spent much time under it to look to see if something is broken yet, is there anything i should pay attention to when I get a chance to crawl under it?
Should I just replace the springs, or spend the extra $$ and get a new RE suspension? this is my DD, so i am more concerned with on road driveablility than rock crawling.
Also, I dont have any place to do a suspension upgrade, so what is a typical cost of having a shop doing it? I would love to do it myself, but its my only car and having no garage or tools to speak of, I would need it done professionally.
That sounds like your shock absorbers have simply worn out. :)
