got a 98 wrangler in mint cond with low miles. It has a squeaky noise in the steering column. I have tilt wheel and didnt know if it has anything to do with it. Any help on easy quick fix?

On my 97 it was more of a groan in cold weather when I turned the wheel. A little lithium grease at the firewal where the gromit for the steering colum goes through did the trick. Hope this helps.

Yup, it's probably the seal where the steering shaft goes through the firewall. A little grease will fix it. Heck, I used WD40 one year when I kept forgetting to pick up new grease.

I also have a 98 that was doing the same.
A bit of grease would probably be better...
but I also used WD-40, and still haven't heard it for a year or so. :)

Can I just spray mine with PB blaster? Or would that be bad?
