YJ Jeep Owners in NJ/NY I need help!!

I have been searching for a Jeep wrangler to purchase to replace a car that was stolen recently. I have found one that looks interesting, but unfortunately I live in Virginia and it is located in North Bergen, NJ. If there is anyone that lives close and can drop by to take a look at it and give some feedback. That would be really awesome. I am just curious if it is even worth the trip to take a look at it. It has a plow on it and my fear is that it is rusted out or the tranny is gone on it. Of course the dealership says everything works great, but i would trust the opinion of other jeep owners than a car salesman any day. So if anyone can give some good feedback that would be awesome!!!

I don't think I would drive from VA to NJ on this one.

yeah to far for 5g and the plow can be a bit scary on a Jeep... never know what it might have messed up or loosened up

yeah i would never pay 5 grand for this one.....figure the dealer might come down to 3500 or 4000 cash or something. I just don't know how hard a plow is on its transmission. Interesting there were only 20,000 miles on it in the past 10 years. probly strictly used for plowing.....

As long as its not a rust bucket i can work with the rest.

it does look pretty good, but 5 is a bit steep. I would say check the frame/undercarriage, esp in the rear. if i was back at school, i'd take a look for ya, but i'm back home in MD for the break..
