So driving down the highway today, I see an old Will's jeep for sale. Instantly I'm thing lift, 35's, new gears etc. would make that cherry. During my drive to the bank (for other reasons then the Willy's) I start to think well I don't have the money/space/tools to do all the work required to fix it. Then it hit, MY DAD! He's retired has space and money! So now I have to convince him to get this Jeep, XD.
Although, its not painted it has what looks to be the original wheels, tires and all, flattened. It's pretty rusty and as holes in the body. I didn't get out to see what the interior looked like but know its gonna be bad by looking at the body, not sure of the year or if it even had an engine. All in all I'd give it a 2. It looks rough and I'm not even sure what they run for. Maybe $500 maximum?

depends on year and make, if you are really serious, get a few pictures and post them here and at the forum at Earlycj5.com and we will be able to better help you. Just as a caution a 45-50's era CJ on 35's is ASKING to die in a roll over. And im 18 and in college and saying this. They were notorious to roll over and kill people back in the day, and that was with no lift and the stock tires.

x2...keep the old ones stock and keep them under 40 mph. They are a handful to drive. I had a 65 CJ6 w/31" tires and manual brakes and manual steering is very challenging in a turn at high speed.
