steering stabilizer

Trying to get the old stabilizer off and cant. Do i need a puller? Im having trouble getting the bolt out of the track bar. Again do i need a puller for this? thanks

no puller needed, just a big hammer ;D and maybe a piece of wood between the stabilizer and hammer. :D

Blue wrench worked well on a pals.. that's a torch..heat works wonders.

am i at any risk of bending my drag link, if i smash it too hard? is there any chemical or spray i can put on there in order to loosen this up.

if i'm corrent the new stabelizer has bushings on its own right? wd 40 or pb blaster spray should help

Maybe let it sit over night with some wd40 or pb blaster.
Then put a piece of wood between the bolt and the hammer.

Or simply leave the nut, on the bolt, to protect it, and hit it with large hammer.

Believe me, I've hit mine(on XJ) pretty hard before and didn't bend it a bit... but that large boulder that I landed on did :D

I just replaced the one on my TJ. I had to get fairly violent with it to get it to pop loose. Even just a little heat will help.

I cheated and used a tie rod puller:p ;)
