One jeep saves another
The bridge collapsed and one jeep fell 10' landing on its top. No injuries. The next day we winched it forward a few feet then were able to roll it back over. Not running yet but at least it's not a permanent fixture in the creek! If ever anyone needed a "flip me back over sticker".....

lol. Awesome. Out of curiosity... what type of winch is that ?

I bet you it won't take too much to get it back running. Let it sit a few days, new air filter, pull the spark plugs to spray out any oil, new plugs and I bet that 4.0 will fire right up. Great video!

It was a Warn M8000. Made 7 pulls that day, including my Ford 4600 buried up to its axles.

And I agree about starting it, had he not tried immediately. Now I think he has big problems.

That is a pretty sweet video! What did you hook up to when you flipped it right side up?

houstonpdlt 01-18-2014 05:35 AM

We just hooked a strap to the frame on the far side. I've watched wrecker drivers do it for years. I think the secret is to give it a quick jerk to get it going instead of letting it just slide along.
