Rough Country vs Teraflex 2.5" Budget Boost.
I posted this on the Jeep forum so sorry for the repost if your like me and surf both sites but I have finally settled on my lift and tire setup (2.5" BB with 33 11.50's on factory Rubi wheels)....
I know it's been posted before but most are old. Wanted to get some fresh opinions from people who hopefully have some time and miles on their BB's. The RC is about half the price so I'm wondering if the TF is worth the extra? Looks like a pretty similar kit with shock adapters.

One thing that I was wondering is if the RC lift being metal if you guys have experienced any metal on metal popping or squeaking that I would assume you wouldn't get in the TF BB? Input please.
:D I'm in favor of the RC lift for this one--it's all STEEL and the teraflex uses rubber/plastic
I'm not in favor of the RC lifts when you start getting shocks and acc., starts to get cheap in quality (shocks)
I've got the RC 2.5" lift and I'm using the RC9000XL shocks--super upgrade
Now, from the wheeling side. Rough Country's stuff I've run, was junk (springs). Not a fan at all, except they DID give me a full refund.
Wheeled with 6 guys last weekend who all had TF stuff. 6 out of a group of 30+, all running the same BB. Not one RC part on any rig, except some leftover shocks from another person who was unimpressed with Rough Country's junk. He went to the TF 2.5" BB, and loves it. It's still a spacer setup, but the extras that it comes with are worth the $$, he said.
Personally, I'd not a fan of BB's in general. Get a proper spring lift.
Anyway, my two cents, again. You get what you pay for sometimes, and in this case, TF would get my $ if this were my choice. But I'd hold out, and pay a bit more for the 2.5" spring lift- it'll fit 35's nicely- Mark W.
