Factory cassette radio with subwoofer

Hey everyone. I was wondering if the factory am/fm/cassette radio in my 98 tj has a sub-out or if you can hook up a sub and amp with this radio  I looked around the forum and the net and I couldn't find anything. Thanks.

no your stock radio does not have a 'pre-out' to hook up an amp. you can replace the radio or you can go out and pick up a line out converterScosche LOC80 2-channel line output converter at Crutchfield.com just wire it in for a signal and run RCAs to the amp and poof.

One more question

Ok thanks for the link. And also will using a line out converter effect my speaker setup right now? I have the dash speakers a soundbar and tweeters. And would the quality of the sub still be decent? Sorry for all the questions I don't know that much about car audio and wiring.

no you can hook up the converter at any time. I'd put it behind the radio and tap into the front speakers for signal as a sub hitting the bass note may push on the rear speaker and cause a feedback loop.
