Time has stopped

I have somehow created some sort of time warp. I know this from having watched too much Star Trek and Stargate SG-1 (yes, I'm at least 1/2 geek). Time is standing still.

My brand new Unlimited X 4WD is supposed to be delivered tomorrow . . . . . . . . . . . . but somehow time has stopped passing.

It seems like I wait 20 minutes, look at the clock, and only 2 minutes have passed. There must be a black hole forming somewhere around here that's causing this.

I hate waiting. I hate anticipation. I want my new toy now so I can run out and get it dirty! :D

AAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

OK - I feel better now that I have whined some

Perhaps your close to a black hole.. those do have certain properties that effect time and space.

Nice bro, glad that you can breathe again. :D (Or at least until you have to make the first payment. :D)

Looks good.

If it weren't for those, the kiddos wouldn't be able to get in and out. Looks like they're stayin' awhile.

AzTJ 01-02-2007 09:33 PM

^ that would be the only exception :D

dirt

My new Jeep was getting angry at me for staying clean. Luckily, I have fields both in front and behind my house. She's still not dirty enough, but I at least tried. ;)

And here are a few interior views for anyone who is wondering.

front

back seat - lots of room for the kids - even mid-sized adults

back with seats folded (which is super easy)

I thought the manual holder looked cool - a nice touch

Overall, I am very happy with the new sled. Just got to find time to get her out somewhere a little more rough to try it out and see how she crawls.

mrbigjeep 01-03-2007 11:21 PM

very cool.

SPDSNYPR 01-05-2007 12:07 PM

Tire size?????

OK - could someone give me the gouge on what the biggest tires I can put on this pup without lifting it - please? Having trouble finding the info.

mrbigjeep 01-05-2007 02:21 PM

i'd say you could definitely fit 32's since they are on the rubicon but i've seen pictures of a JK with 33's and no lift. dude on another forum had this setup and he had an offroad vid too. he didn't rub any in the vid. it was mainly hill climbs.

SPDSNYPR 01-05-2007 03:18 PM

I've done some mild searching, and it's hard to find anything in inch pattern. What size would a 33" be referred to like the 245-75-16. I don't have a clue what the measurements mean.

AzTJ 01-05-2007 07:01 PM

33"s should be listed as 33"s. that 247xwhatever is metric.

SPDSNYPR 01-05-2007 10:40 PM

I found a site for conversion. Not sure how to post the link but it looks like I could fit 265's no problem. http://www.americanracing.com/techce...Calculator.htm

Very little available in 16" rim diameter - everything seems geared toward 15 and 17.

On a happier note, I did take the wife and kids out and found a creek bed to crawl around in a little. Scared the wife to death, but kids had a ball and the sled handled the grades with no problem. No pics - wife was busy covering her eyes and screaming. :D

from what i have been reading, 33" tires will fit, but depending on the width chances are you will experience rubbing either at full flex or when you have turned the wheels to their max. i think i am going to go with bfgs 285/70/17, they are 32.7" in height. the will still look good and i won't have to worry about rubbing.
