rustysoffroad.com 2" Budget Boost

Was looking at this 2" lift and noticed the web page shows it including 1.75" spacers. Is that a typo on the page or is 1.75" considered a 2" lift? I noticed there are 1.75" kits that also include the 1.75" spacers so not sure what's what.

2" lift:

Anyone order this? Can you verify the actual size of the spacers for the 2" budget lift in the above link?

Thanks!!

It just looks like an inconsistency in the web pages. Both pages say that you get 2" of lift from the 1.75" spacers.

I've found that the stated (or implied) lift on any of the kits is just an approximation. I got 4.75" from my 3.5 RE superflex kit. My friend got 5" from a 4.5 RE superflex. Go figure...

I have not ordered spacers, but I know a guy that runs 31s with just spacers.

Good Luck.

If it is anything like the TereFlex kit, the two inches includes the thin spacers that are already there. You just don't remove them when you take the springs off.
Make sure you go to Autozone and get a spring compression tool. It can be done without it but I don't recommend it.

Thanks for the help, everyone. Yeah, thats all I'm after - 31's with a quick 2" lift - not wanting to get into replacing springs/shocks, lowering transfer case, etc. and it looks like 2" is the max for spacer kits.

most "2 inch" spacer lifts ARE actually only 1.75".

They usually account for the extra lift if you leave the stock pads in. And getting a spring compressor will help out a ton, especially if you have an air gun.
