NEPA - 1993 Wrangler. 4 cyl. 5 spd.
Hey guys,

I'm trying to move my 93 Wrangler. It runs real strong, but it has a couple of problems.

The good: 110,000 miles. Motor and trans are very strong, no problems, no drips, leaks, etc. 4WD and brakes are good. No mechanical problems. Has black hardtop with solid upper doors w/ sliding glass. Tires have good tread. Body is straight, never been wrecked, never been off road.

The bad: Heater fan is broken. Heat still works, but no fan to blow it around. No radio - previous owner fancied himself a car stereo guy...he wasn't. Easily remedied, wires are all there, I just don't know what they are.

The ugly: Rust. Parts of the body are starting to grow some rust, especially around where the "JEEP" logo is in front of the doors. Small hole rusted in front left fender flare. Driver's seat frame is rusted out, would need to be replaced to pass inspection. The part is about $100.

Like I said, no mechanical problems. If it's shown a little TLC it will run well for a long, long time.

Would make a great fun project, or a very reliable driver for someone willing to do a little work. I have a seatbelt up for sale, as well as a full set of extra wheels. 15" black 8-hole style. If somebody want the jeep I'll throw in any of the extras you want.
Asking $1499 OBO. Call 570-236-3830 for any additional info, pics, etc.

Sorry man! I should add that it is inspected through November and I have the seat braced so it's being driven, it's not just sitting around.

Sure wish you were closer than a 14 hour drive, it would be sold! Good luck on the sale.

Thanks whobeme. I think I priced it fair. It's been great to me but it's starting the cycle of "this year it needs $400 to pass inspection, this year it needs $600...." It would be much better off in the hands of someone who is going to fix it up right. I can do the basics, I don't mess around with rust and bodywork though.

$1499 is way too good of a deal to pass up... if i had the money. Honestly you could put it on craigslist and get 3 grand out of it.

Sold. Thanks guys. I could have gotten more out of it I'm sure, but I'm ok with what I got. Aside from oil changes and the occasional odd fix I haven't spent a dime on it in years. It's been good to me, and it will be good to the buyer now.
