rear defroster wiper wiring
i think i sold the hard top to my 03 rubicon, a guy is interested in buying my hard top but he was curious about the wiring. can i take the wiring out of my dash and can he take that and use it in his 06 rubicon?, also how hard is it to take the wiring and plumming out? anyone done this before? any help would be great

I would not attempt to remove yours. Mopar sells wiring kits. Quadratech,, ebay has them. I installed it in my 03.

I wouldn't take it out either.
For one thing, it's a switched hot lead to the back of the Jeep. You never know, you might want to wire something in there someday.

Like Neil says, tell the guy to buy the kit because it's pretty likely that your wires will be a reall challenge to get out of there.

what could i use those wires for that go to the back? im just gonna keep everything hooked up but what do some people use em for?

You could change your mid about the hardtop after the next winter. Or, you can use the washer to spray people who follow too close!

I don't know what you could use them for unless it was for some switched rail lights or something back there. Maybe use it as a start for some rock lights.

It just popped into my head that it was wiring with factory switches. I thought that might be pretty handy to have. If I didn't use my hard top in the winter, I'd find a use for it. It would have been great for my Skinny Pedal MiniMe rock lights!
