awesome. i like it!

SBakerUMC 04-27-2010 08:32 PM

do you have one like that with a receiver hitch?

s3nt3nc3d 04-27-2010 08:33 PM

That's pretty slick!

adkjoe 04-27-2010 08:51 PM

Dave that's beautiful...

KawiTJ 04-27-2010 08:55 PM

thats cool, like a heavy duty version of whats under a stock bumper

burton160w 04-27-2010 09:00 PM

Hate it! I would have to see it in person, fully installed on my Jeep free of charge before I could really give any other analysis. :p just kiddin, but seriously need a product tester? Seriously?

dave@rokmen 04-27-2010 09:09 PM

Thanks for the good words..

A modified light duty one - maybe...... Tow rated, probably not.. This bumper is so tight to the crossmember that there is just no room to reinforce a true receiver.

aghostinside 04-27-2010 09:25 PM

That's what I've wanted from the begining. You guys put out sone nice stuff. Wish I had the cash to change everything over.

AzTJ 04-27-2010 10:44 PM

I'd like a little more tub protection on the out-side ends... but I guess that's what the corner guards are for. :D

mudslinger150 04-28-2010 07:56 AM

looks nice but i would want something that sticks out a bit so the corners and lights etc. wouldn't be the first thing the take the brunt of a tree or rock....Corner guards or not, that kinda the point of a "bumper"

dave@rokmen 04-28-2010 09:50 AM

Some of us like to clean things up as we modify....... having 5 extra inches hanging off the back is often times the reason why the back is even drag'd in the first place.

Remove the overhang, increase the departure angle, and you'll decrease the amount of times you are hitting things...

yjkid95 04-28-2010 10:01 AM

Do you make that bumper for a yj? Im trying to go for a clean look and that bumper is all i need to finish the back of my jeep.(took off the spare, got 4in round tail lights with the grommet, getting holes filled on the tailgate and having it painted)

dave@rokmen 04-28-2010 12:18 PM

We don't have a YJ to test it on... But, based on past things we've done with YJ's we think it will work - just can't be 100% certain..

I have a YJ you can test it on :D

yjkid95 04-28-2010 01:30 PM

I too have a yj you could test it on.

jtraider 04-28-2010 02:21 PM

so you have to have the mounting kit to bolt it on?

dave@rokmen 04-28-2010 06:34 PM

No not really... If you have a bucket of bolts hanging around, you may have what you need.

If you want the Heavy Duty Frame Tie-In's and don't have bolts - then you may want the moutnign kit for conveinance.

dave@rokmen 04-28-2010 06:35 PM

Are any of these YJ's in the Denver area?

csamn2007 04-28-2010 08:08 PM

How many do you have pre made?! I want one now.

mgaspard 04-28-2010 08:23 PM

I'm not liking it. Looks like a frame cover. Could use some mushroom hex bolts in the same color to finish it off.
But you do make a mighty fine front bumper. Why don't you work on a nice looking rear bumper with a tire carrier.

I may have a couple promos available before the main production run hits the laser. If you want in on one, then let me know. I may have an extra available in 5-10 days.

(there is nothing different between a promo, and production)
