I noticed a fluid leak at the front housing seal where the front drive shaft yoke connects to what I call a hog head. Is this a easy job to replace?

yes will take ya about an hour. Then when you do it a few times it will be down to about 10 mins.
Pull the 4 bolts on the driveshaft (yoke side)
bungie cord the driveshaft up out of the way.
Get a big breaker bar and bust the pinion nut loose and take it off.
When you pull the pinion yoke there might be shims behind it do not lose them. You must put everything back the way it came off FYI. Under all that there is the seal, pull it off with a screw driver. Then put the new one in by hand then I use a 36 mm deep socket to gently tap the seal down in place. Then put it all back together. Pinion nut should be tightened to about 165ish foot pounds.
Then your done :D

also you can run a small bead of RTV on the seal too. Funny thing is you said yours was leaking after you got done. Mine leaked for like 3 days then stopped lol. Has not leaked sense. Yes I do have gear fluid in the diff too lolol :p
