Transfer Case Bolts

Hi folks...Did a bit of searching, but didn't find my answer. I have a 2003 Rubicon that I am putting a lift on (thanks to those of you out there that helped me with my broken bolt problems). Does anyone know the stock size of the transfer case bolts through the skid plate? Diameter and length. I am heading out to the store and want to grab replacement bolts and washers in case I need to drop the case down. Thanks!

This is the thread you are looking for:

I am not sure if your ride would fall into a SAE or metric thread. Somewhere in those years they changed over. My 2000 TJ is SAE. Best of luck.

There are so many threads and I had the same question that I remember asking awhile ago. Jerry is super knowledgeable and helpful if you have not noticed yet.

Everytime I read a string and I see that he weighed in I feel alot more comfortable. Yes I have noticed that!:punk:

Question....how big of a lift??? Your rubicon has a 241 tcase. Just saying. You'll may need rear upper adjustable arms. but dought you'll need to drop the case. Depending on hieght of lift upper adjustables and a new rear shaft maybe in order.

The 241...does not need or require an SYE upgrade. ;)

TJs were not all the same . If I remember correctly 97-02 were 1/2" with 13 thread and 03-06 were metric I think 12mm but can't remember the thread pitch . Their is a recent thread on jeep forum about this and nutsert problems in the TJ section if you care to check it out .
