Spice?

New to this forum so please be nice. Is the color of the interior on a sahara called spice ( a goldenrod color) and if so who makes an interior paint and what color or number is it called. Have built an overhead console and need to paint it.

Thanks

It's hard to say with the minimal info given but this link may help you out

Jeep Colour Codes

Hope this helps.

Pretty sure it's spice. No clue where to find a matching color other than finding the code and get it matched at the paint store.

According to my color code list it would be moss green

Thank you for the quick replies. I am pretty sure they call the interior color spice and was just kind of curios if someone knew a paint code for an interior plastic paint from one of the paint companies.

Interior is spice....no paint though, The platic is molded in the color. Not painted.

The exterior paint is also discontinued through the dealer...have to go to a paint shop and have them paint match...a decent painter shop can paint match the desert sand pearlcoat and fill a couple of paint cans for you.

As for matching the interior tan "spice" molded plastic....best bet would to get a semi flat tan/ sand paint and test it out on another object to match.

And...welcome from Wichita KS. Where about you from in flat land? And lets see a picture of your jeep bud. I have a soft spot for desert sand jeeps.:D

Cut out a section of carpet about 1"x1", take it to your nearby Sherwin Williams or the like, (not home depot) an actual paint store, and they can scan it and match it for you and put it in a spray bomb....

Wait, I have to be nice? You have a spice interior in your jeep and I have to be nice?

Crap! :D

What about taking in the glove box door ... then no carpet has to be cut...

Yep, that'd work too, or the console cover, or anything else that would be easily removed.... Good thinkin there CME! :)
