Mystery dash leak
I have done my research on here and tried just about everything to fix the leak that has been soaking my shoes everytime I drive in the rain.

When it rains I have water pouring from underneath the dash and onto my feet. So far I have replaced the seal where the window folds down and the seal around the window. I also checked the overflow tube thing that is inside the hood intake thing right in front of the windshield. I even turned the scoop that goes over that thing backwards so that rain isn't being forced into it while driving.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for a fix or has anyone else experienced this problem?

Could it be coming in thru the vent on the cowl right behind the hood?

I searched with "leak" in the title and found several threads on this, mine's doing the same thing...sounds like it's a clogged drain the firewall from what I've read so far...have you gotten it taken care of?

It is that drain hose on your firewall -- it is full of mud. guarantee it!

end of it caked with mud, yik yik... cleared it out with a screwdriver..

will test with hose tonight..

Still leaking
I checked the hose y'all are refering to. It was clogged and I thought I fixed the problem. The next big rain storm, same thing again. I do not have AC. I have bed lined the body tube in front of the windshield earlier today in hope of sealing any crack that were caused from sh@tty weld work. We'll see if thats where it was coming in from. The entire interior and exterior will be lined by next weekend.

Did you take the hose off of the firewall to clean it? About every 3 times I go out on the trail I have to remove the hose and vent grill (on the body in front of the hood) and flush all the mud out...
