Yet another 350 swap, question adapter prices
Alright I have tried to search and had no luck.

A "friend" of mine called me the other day and offered to swap me straight up my 4.2 for a 350 both run (the 4.2 is a little rough). I would like to change trannys too since th350 is pretty easy to get ahold of. I can get ahold of plenty of chevy and jeep parts it is the adapters that I can't get so easily I need to order them.

Would it be easier/cheaper to get the adapter from engine to tranny, or tranny to transfer case. And where can I find the adapters for the cheapest price since they cost around $500 straight from the source. I saw a post on a site that said like $160 but I can't find where I saw that.

I can fab and do wiring its just the crossing companies that is gonna cost me.

I want to know what you guys are paying for these things and WHERE FROM?:confused:

It has been a while since I did a swap so I'm not much help on current prices. But any one that swaps a motor in a Jeep should be using parts from Novak. They have an answer for everything.

I always here them and advanced but they are not too friendly on my wallet but are very informative

I would recomend ditching the 999 and swapping in a 700r4 or T-350/400 depending if you want overdrive and use a transmission to transfer case adapter from novak.
I used the mountain offroad "bomb proof" motor mount's.
you running new process 231 transfercase?

You said cheap as possible??
Dont forget your radiator,exhaust manifolds, driveshaft's and the SHORT life span of your dana 35 with a v8 in front of it.

and scrambler I was thinking the same with using a chevy tranny and I meant to include that stuff when I said I can get chevy and jeep parts and can fab but I do appreciate it I am sure thers is some stuff that I am not figuring in.

My main problem right now is just getting the engine bolted in there
