Ongoing O2 sensor saga
So I posted before how I had replaced my O2 sensor in my '02 4.0l, and then when I came back overseas the check engine came back on. My wife took it to get inspected and they said it was bad needed to be replaced again. Well today she went to the garage and they told her the reason the O2 sensor keeps going is that the radiator is bad. I have never ever heard of a Radiator causing a O2 sensor to go. Never mind this radiator does not leak, is not cracked and the vehicle has never overheated since brand new in 2002. Maybe I am out of the know, has anyone ever heard of a radiator causing the O2 sensor to have problems?

Sounds like BS to me...

You realize on newer vehicles, most have an upstream AND a downstream O2 sensor...I'd change em both and replace em with NGK (I believe that's what they use for the OEM ones--if it's not, I'd use whatever OEM is). I've heard certain O2 sensors that are "universal" actually will cause weird issues on some vehicles and that may be all your issue is.

You could also have something causing your engine to run rich which is causing the sensors to go bad due to getting carboned up or something...just a guess.

That does sound a little weird. have you tried checking your codes just for kicks? I have an '03 Rubicon that had a little engine fit recently. I did a little research and found if you turn the key on then off three times quickly the codes will be displayed where the milage is. I then looked up the codes which told me the problem.
Just to clarify.... On-off, on-off, on-off, on- codes.
