Baja Mexico July 5 tru ?

We are looking to make a trip through Nothern Mexico (Baja) July 5th through July 11th or 12th. We were thinking about starting in San Felipe for a few days and then heading to the Pacific side near La Bufadora. I would love to head further south but probably not enough time this year. Maybe next year depending how this year goes.

Jeep Camping / Four wheeling and whatever. Not sure what we will find other that beer and fish Tacos.

Anyone interested?

Just keep your eyes open Scott. There is a lot of crap going on. Jeeps are a big commodity south of the border. I love it over there but I am on a bit of a break from it all.

Wow, Thanks for the comment. I have looked into the trip further and even checked out a few sites regarding Baja safety.

At this point I am going but we will be sticking to the Pacific side of Baja. Way to hot in San Felipe as most of the locals even look for ways to get out of town. I will be doing some necessary mods to insure no one takes my Jeep tho.

Beach Camping and wheeling for sure.

I am putting in a link to another website called Bajanomad.com that I have consulted for many answers regarding this trip.

:wavey: You are going to do necessary mods? Remember way back when the weekly show "Rat Patrol" was on tv? Do the kind of mods they did to thier jeeps then you shouldn't have any problems. Just kidding. If you go, be safe and have fun. A couple of years ago a guy I worked with was going to take his Honda Goldwing to Mexico. He called his insurance company to see if his bike would be insured in another country without any problems. They told him to go ahead and go, BUT be prepared to come home without it, because one way or another somebody down there was going to get it from him. Jim didn't go to Mexico, he went to Canada instead.

I'm not sure about san Felipe this time of year but I would love to meet down on the pacific side for some trails and camping.
