You look awfully young to be driving, but I know Oklahoma is a little "backwoods"......... :D

sjlawr 06-04-2010 07:01 PM

I bought my 82 Jeep brand new and that was the day I brought it home.

Seriously, that is my daughter, I think she loves the Jeep more than I do.

that is really cool

rbraden1970 06-05-2010 12:03 PM

I went to Superlift Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas about a month ago and had a great time. Though it is about 7 hour drive from Blackwell. Not so far from the Ft. Smith area. I am trying to get down to Clayton which it seems that there is usually something going on there. I know in September I am going because Sam's Offroad is having a run there, I think the 11th or 12th, it is listed on there website.

cavediverjc 06-06-2010 01:52 PM

A handful of guys up my way (central/south-central Kansas) are headed down to Disney sometime this summer. Maybe we can all meet up there for some wheeling?

InfernoGirl 06-06-2010 05:53 PM

Tbone in Bixby is obviously from OK, and there are others, don't know where they are lately, but I know they're around.

I would like to If things work out that way! I'm in the middle of moving this July. I'll be close to Ft Smith Ar but on the Oklahoma side!

toshpate 06-16-2010 04:11 PM

we are out there. I always forget the Oklahoma part sorry. I know jeepers, they have a mud thing near muskogee and also have been to disney with a few guys it is cool, rocks, and trails and some climbing, saw even stock jeeps going, I didnt trust mine so hoped in with a guy with a bigger jeep. in Tahlequah so pretty east ok as well

rbraden1970 06-17-2010 10:42 AM

I wheeled at Disney with no lift and 31's. Had someone help me up the ledge, tow strap, to get over by the rock garden though. i watched 2 jeeps break axles trying to get up the ledge with no lockers and had them bouncing.

toshpate 06-17-2010 01:56 PM

yeah mine is stock with 31's but I need new shocks..I actually have a broken shock mount on my passenger side so I dont even have a shock working on that side..its on my list..need to find a welder ha ha

OklaTJ 06-18-2010 09:46 AM

Im setting in 31x10.50 15's right now with no lift! That is tell feb next year Then a 4-6 inch lift 35x12.50 15's are going on !

Tg6435 06-26-2010 09:16 AM

Hello Okie's! New to the forum, just bought mine. Everything is still stock for now. But i'm going to be working on it. Any ideas for side mirrors with the doors off?

rbraden1970 06-27-2010 01:10 AM

Motorcycle mirors seems to be what alot of people use and slip them into where the door pins go

OklaTJ 06-27-2010 08:21 AM

Just what rbraden1970 said,Ive seen pic of them on here and they look good!
And welcome to the forum!

Tg6435 06-27-2010 08:52 AM

Found a "relocation kit" on Mopar Supercenter. Not a bad price either. Only about $60. But i will look around for some Motorcycle mirrors too.
