Soft Top windows without door surrounds?

Just got some windows for my soft top on a 2001. My Wrangler doesnt have door surrounds, and i dont really want to spend a lot of money to get new ones, even on ebay. Are there any kind of soft top windows that dont require door surrounds?

Thanks,

Andy

None

Even the frameless soft tops and 1/2 cabs have to use some form of door surrounds

What JP said. Look on craigslist, ebay, for sale sections here, you'll find some used ones that aren't so expensive. But you gotta have door surrounds to rock the soft tops... ;)

I found a used factory soft top in great shape on Craigslist. $200 complete with door surrounds. Gotta have 'em. I think the bottom of the rear windows would just blow out of the tub channel and flap without them.

Yeah - you need the door surrounds regardless of which doors you're using.

The Supertop comes with its own version of the surrounds though, and compared to the factory plastic "wings" they're pretty minimal. Is it possible you have an aftermarket top, and not the factory top? You can go here to match your hardware to the top you have.

Dang, alright then. The only reason i got the windows was so i could drive to town with the top down, and then be able to close up my jeep. I might just pick up a weather cover or something...any suggestions?

I just bought this one:

Trail Covers, All Weather - Tops and Accessories for Jeep & GM, Ford, Dodge Trucks by Bestop

I can get it on and off in just a minute or two. Works great, I had it on last night when we got a pretty good thunderstorm and everything stayed nice and dry.
