Why won't my door open unless I'm holding the lock in open position?

Somebody broke the glass in the passenger door. I took the door apart to get the glass out and install a new piece. That went fine. But now when I unlock the door, it won't stay open. It is as if some kind of spring is missing. If I hold it unlocked, then I can open the door. Is there a diagram or picture of what it should look like so I can figure out what part I'm missing?

I had the same problem for over a year. I finally pulled the panel and fixed it this week. All I did was spray all the pieces on the interior of the door with WD-40 while working the lock back and forth. Finally when I pressed hard in the unlock position I could feel it click and it's good now.

Thank you, it worked. If anyone else runs into this, spraying directly into the locking mechanism through the door panel WHILE JIGGLING was the most important part.
