Seat Belt Replacement
Moving on to our next project, seat belt replacement. The seatbelts we currently have are ancient, and besides clicking in, dont actually work, they dont retract, or adjust, we pretty much through it over our shoulder so we dont get pulled over, but in an accident, well, we'd be :flipoff:
Is it better to just replace with stock? As far as ease of replacement and cost, or is there an after-market one someone might reccomend?
"Stock" belt new or used are between 50 to100+ with a majority of them about 70-80. I have the same issue with my drivers side belt, I am looking into a 4 point harness that bolts in the factory locations. Ill get back on here and post links once I'm off my phone and on a pc.
perfect example of a stock replacement but u have to buy 2 Beams Industries SCH3241000 - 3 Point Retractable Lap & Shoulder Harness with Push-Button Buckle - Quadratec
this one comes with everything but is a bit more pricey
Q9295P-100 - Front Metal Push Button 3 Point Retractable Belts for 92-95 Jeep® Wrangler YJ - Quadratec
here are some 3 and 4 point harnesses Corbeau Harness Belts for Jeep Wrangler - Quadratec
And this is the one im looking to get Jeep Seat Belts
so there are lots of choices a lot more than what i posted, do some reading and figure out what you want and like and go for it...im poor so i have to wait and save while running the risk of eating my steering wheel, but at least what ever i hit will not be driving or walking away without serious damage thanks in part to a structural steel I-beam for a front bumper :D
