New TJ Friday/ Needs work all stock suggestions welcome

So just picked up my TJ Friday. Got a sweet deal, but it needs some work.

all stock 1998 4.0 5 speed sport with 125k and some serious soccer mom abuse

Some of the main issues are;

Broken front sway bar end links

bad downstream o2

wrong gas cap? also throws this code

some dieseling on shut off

starts with a funny crank? maybe its a jeep thing? im used to my 350

frame rot where the side steps bolt on

rotted heater hose

To start my build I already removed the sway bar and hammered out the broken endlinks. Tomorrow I am dropping the skid plate to see the mess underneath. I also lopped off the sides of the front bumper with a sawzall because they were bent up.

I am considering doing a two inch spring and shock rough country lift off the bat and picking up disconnectible endlinks, and new steering stabilizer. I haven't built a jeep before, just been looking around a lot. I plan on getting most of my lift from either trimming or getting tube fenders and putting on the biggest tires i can.

Would like to really here any suggestions, But bear in mind I am looking to stay as budget minded as possible. Really need to get it running to my likeing before I throw money at it. Will post pics asap.

First Welcome to the forum.
It sounds like you have big plans for your new toy. One word of advice is READ. Before you go throwing money into lifts and big tires, check out some of the threads here regarding lifts. I would def get it back to mechanical order before starting the mods, but whatever you do, WE NEED PICS!!!
