stuck hub bearing unit

I have a 98 TJ that has a bad u-joint that needs to be replaced. the hub bearing unit is stuck. I even tried the bolt trick on stu-olsen's site and nothing. I need some advise as I'm at my wits end and about ready to start cutting things with a sawzall. I'm already gonna have to replace the upper ball joint due to a bone headed move on my part. HELP!!!!:

I would try and get a slide hammer on there and "give it all she's got." It's been a while since I pulled one so I don't remember exactly how the bolt configuration is on those but I do remember that it was a PITA to get off.

if you don't mind replacing the bearing. I just use a hammer and start tapping around the bearing. if it doesn't move I get a bigger hammer. I do this in the junk yard if all I want is the axle. could try some penetrating oil before hitting it, should help losen up the rust.once out I wire wheel the inside of the knuckle and apply anti-seize to surface.

If you have access to air tools, then use an air chisel from the backside, should work like a charm... and hopefully the you already have the 3 bolts removed... LOL

SUCCESS! I finally got it to break free with the help of a lot of pb blaster and a chisel & 3lb. sledge. Lots of pounding and slight damage to steering knuckle, but nothing that will cause any further issues. Thanks to all for the help.
