1991 Wrangler Glove box
Does anyone know how to remove the glove box from a 1991 Wrangler. It looks like I have all the screws and bolts out but, somthing is still holding it in place. Help!

There are 4 bolts holding it in from behind. You'll have to pull back the metal dash (which means you have to remove the dash pad) in order to access them.

Sorry 45 ACP, that thing is a pain in the rear, just like mike_b_ar is trying to delicately point out.

just pulled my glove box on my 90 today. It had me stumped for a little intill i reached up behind it and felt the screws (two on each side) holding it. Used a stubby phillips and was able to remove them. You can't remove the dash pad before removeing the glove box because there's a couple of dash pads screws behind the glove box

Glove Box
Thanks all. I did see the screws finaly after running my hand behind the glove box. I am changing the color of my interior and thought it would be neater if I removed the glove box to paint.

I decided to leave it in place and tape up every thing and paint it and the dash board. This was my project for Saturday. I painted everything black and it came out very nice. No more ulgy tan interior. I used Krylon spray paint for plastic. Very nice paint for this application.

I think that I will paint my fender flares with it next Saturday.

Thanks again to all.
