Should I switch stock tj seats for brown leathers?

A friend is trading in there tj and
Offered me the seats great condition
Brown leather, swap for my 05' tj stock seats.
Think they will look good in my jeep, navy blue tj?

another thing to think about is what year is your jeep?
the seats in the 03 and newer TJs are different then the 97-02 TJs, they might bolt right in, but then again, they might not.
just something to think about.

but i think they would look good, ive always like the blue and tan/brown combo.

If you're into leather in a TJ sure.

I'd have leather seats in my TJ in a heartbeat. Leather is tough, it breathes, and it holds up. Afterall, what are/were boots, work gloves, old buckboard wagon seats, saddles, etc. made from because it holds up so well? Leather.

All early car seats used to be made from leather until it got to be too expensive. :)

Vinyl is far worse for that than leather is. :)

They will bolt right in. I put a set of Columbia Edition Wrangler seats in my base 1997 TJ for my wife. The Columbia's were made in 2004. Awesome seats, they clean nicely and are a heavy material that you would expect from Columbia, just like the coats and outdoor gear they make. Best $200 I spent on the TJ.

Idk, never had vinyl... But black leather in two previous convertibles left a definite impression on me... :) Not saying it's a bad choice, just not one I would make willingly again. :)

To each his own,I prefer vinyl, but mine came with cloth.Vinyl is better for water-I have been doused with water several times.Leather is cool, but wouldn't be my first choice. However, for the price of zero,I would probably do it anyway!
