New Mopar Bikini Top

FINALLY after 4 weeks it finally came in. I was the first person to purchase one for the 4-door JK, so I got to stand around in the back with the guys and learn how to put it on. Overall, it's not too bad, 2 brackets and 2 bolts, badda boom badda bang......done. The ONLY thing that sucks is that in the fall I have to remove the brackets to put my freedom top back on. It's a little "baggy" fitting??? He said with it being out in the sun it should "shrink" up????
I have pics, but most of them you can't tell it's even on there, but from the back you can, so here ya go!

Very nice, actually the entire Jeep looks great! What kind/size of tires and wheels do you have on it, and does it have a lift. Nice!

Thanks!!!
Believe it or not the tires are stock, the wheels are ProComp 7069 Flat Black in the 17X9' Rim. I just put a 1' spacer in the front to bring it level. (It was 37' in the back and 36' in the front) Yep, I am pretty proud of it myself!!!

So from the ground to the top of your tires it's 37"? And it has a lift?

Just a spacer.......I don't know how common it is for all models of Jeeps, so I can only speak for the JK's that they are stock with the back riding higher than the front. So I threw the 1 inch spacer in there to bring the front level with the back.

But what is your overall height? And no lift?

I vote for the Body Skinz. I have no idea what that is, but I like the sound of it. :D

Ahhh yes the infamous, shrinking......my granny is 4'9 right now and we used to be the same height. Ah well, I come from short genes on both sides, I never had a chance!

With heels your a giant, who cares. In the prone position, nobody notices anyhow.

From Bikini Top to Prone already? That was quick.

Hey, all kidding aside; you mentioned that the new top you got was a little saggy. If it rains it will fill with water, I wouldn't settle for that. You should call the manufacturer and find out what the story is. It may even be on wrong. What's the point of having a saggy top, you may have better luck with an after market top than the Mopar on this one. Something's not right, it is not going to "shrink" enough to be considered taut; if at all. They are not designed to shrink, I don't think. Excuse the pun.

I won't have it on during rainy season, because it only rains here from November until May, my hard top will go back on. I agree with what you are saying. They GUARANTEED me that it would shrink a bit(it's not sagging down by all means, it's just a little looser than I expected).....but nothing came out of pocket, I used my Mopar bucks......it sucks because NOBODY else on this forum has one for the 4-door made by Mopar so I have nobody else to compare with.......It was on backorder from Chrysler because of the high demand all over the US, so someone else is bound to come on here and give some feedback.
