I think this is the first time I took dump at the computer. Holy crap thats insane

ESP 08-22-2010 09:27 PM

this a common place where people kills their buggys, jeeps, trucks, you name it. Aptly know as Hell's Revenge "The bathtub"

Gate53 08-22-2010 09:33 PM

Ahhhh it'll buff out.

distortedtj 08-22-2010 09:36 PM

Wheel base helped there.

yjkid95 08-22-2010 09:39 PM

exactly my thoughts as I watched him crawl in there but I've seen unlimiteds roll over in there plenty. That was the finest job I've seen of some one getting out though. :D

ESP 08-22-2010 09:58 PM

also there was zero water in there that day so he definitely had an advantage with that over most who try.

domstriker 08-23-2010 01:13 AM

Quite impressive. I can't help but wonder; manual or auto?

jcf 08-23-2010 01:30 AM

Here is another one, I think it definately is the longer wheel base. I have seen many roll over in Mickeys hot tub it's a lot harder than it looks on video.

Wow that's pretty insane. They make it look easy.

Orfanidisnikolaos 08-23-2010 07:43 AM

These jks just dont get stuck..... Its simple.....

99white4.0 12-11-2010 04:48 PM

I watched countless videos of TJ's flipping over backwards at Hell's Revenge....like mentioned above, the longer wheel base that JK's have really helps out

If I'm not mistaken that was actually "The Hottub", "The Bathtub" isn't that steep and is longer in the bottom. Both are awesome! :punk:

If you want to see some trails that will fry your gizzard just watching, check out the youtube stuff on "Black Bear Pass" in the Ouray-Telluride area.

I was doing ok until "Adios Corner" off camber at the top of a million foot waterfall, then 5 switchbacks so tight even the JKs have to back up for 3 swipes to make it.

There's a ton of sheer cliff video madness out there if you really Really REALLY want to see what the extreme trails are like.

JeeperJake 12-11-2010 10:38 PM

found one link, there's a ton of others

It's not for amateurs, apparently. At least according to the Rev.

jcf 12-12-2010 12:16 AM

I have been part way up that trail & even I got out & walked,it is very steep & the switchbacks are really tight, not for amatures thats for sure. There was a Jeep went over the edge not long ago & killed the couple in it after tumbling down the cliff

Bubba68CS 12-12-2010 01:33 AM

The most extreme off-road video I've ever seen is over a trail no Jeep could possibly get through...and one I'm not sure I'd want to walk:

You might have to sign in to view it...some idiot flagged it for no good reason :9lame::bottom:

Havok 12-12-2010 02:08 AM

how the hell do you get down from something like that? thats freaking insane

Lawngnome 12-12-2010 04:08 AM

Very impressive, but it would have been better if they didn't talk so much.

mattyd 12-12-2010 07:01 AM

IS this the Hot Tub or the Bath Tub?

re: Big Ball trail

50 years ago I rode trails in SW Idaho not too unlike that on a Honda 55 geared down. There were places I wouldn't care to walk these days.

Impressive ...my grandfather probably would have tried it when he was alive, but I'm not sure I ever would.
