Sift top Questions?
I have a 92 wrangler that came with Hard top, and full doors. I have since removed them all and installed the soft top with the full soft doors.

My question is can i use the full hard doors with the soft top? And if so do i need any kind of extra plastic framing that i see on some of the jeeps with the 1/2 doors.

You shouldn't need anything else. The best way to find out is to try them.

Coming from a Z forum, i would of said..."whats a sift top"? lol

I did try them. Looks to be that i'd have to do a lot of adjustments.

Nothing is ever easy.

Soft tops come with door surrounds. These are either the plastic framing or "wings" that you describe, or a simple horizontal and vertical bar (as in the Supertop).

Can you use your doors? Maybe.
With the YJ, the Jeep soft top group and the Jeep hard top group were not on speaking terms. So the hardtop uses an upper door opening that has a rounded back corner, while the soft top group demanded a square back corner.

Bestop designed the YJ Supertop with the hard top style opening, since we sell it mostly to people buying their first soft top.

The factory top, the Bestop Replace-A-Top, and some others out there, are designed to fit with the rounded door openings.

Clear as mud? Take a snapshot of your doors, making sure to get the top rear corner. Send it to, and ask them "will the Supertop work with these YJ doors?"

Well here is the pictures of the soft top no with the soft doors, and those are the full doors that i am asking to use with that soft top.

I will send the pix to that dot com site as well, thanks.
