I took my new (to me) '00 TJ out this weekend after getting it trail worthy. I took it easy as my purpose was to see how things worked and see what I needed to change/modify next.

Here is a short video of my trip to Attica Indiana today.

Things held together great and I didn't even break my Dana 35 rear-end. :)

Very nice man. Do you have any suspension upgrades and what size tires are you running?

I have a Rubicon 3.5" Superflex and that's it for the suspension so far. The tires are BFG AT's 33"x10.5" on factory rims. I'll prob keep these as daily drivers and get some 33x12.5's on 10" wide Rock Crawlers for tail duty this winter.

Nice Jeep. Nice Trail. Suggestion: Couldn't tell if your cooler was strapped down or not, but it should be. Protects you and the beer.

It was strapped in. Just water and beef jerky in there. Beer gets ya kicked out of the park... well, that and I don't drink (anymore). :)

Yeah dude, I had to have a friend with a dodge 1500 to tow me out. The ground was completely flat at first with sand but then my vehicle just slid in and then the mud between my fron and rear wheels moved back and forth as I tried to get through it.
When I got out, the mud went half way up my thigh(I'm 6'5).

Thanks man. I learned years ago that if I can't crawl over it I don't attempt to go over it. I don't like breaking stuff. The badlands were dead yesterday, in ran the trails for several hours and only came across a couple of Jeeps besides me and they were in the most popular spot, the rock quarry. Even then, I saw a trailered in built rock crawler getting towed back to the parking area because he broke something on the rocks. The place can be vicious on hardware. :)

I haven't made it out to haspin acres yet. Maybe I'll have to plan a trip before winter.
