Doors off
I'm considering going doorless for awhile, but I've got dome lights.

I'm wondering if I'll have issues with battery drainage if I just remove all the lighted bulbs. Is there something I'm missing, or will I be fine with just the bulb removal?

Thanks in advance for the help!

If you have a TJ remove fuse #4, not sure about the other models.

1987 XJ. The wifey won't let me take the doors off the Wrangler, which makes me sad face.

still may be a fuse you can pull that will disable the lights.

or as you stated you can yank the bulbs.

Or depending on the door switch you can pin them in the "off" position.

In my Wrangler, I list clip the door buttons.... Use a paperclip and it works. <s>Hell</S> heck, use tape...

It's a jeep it's bound to happen atleast once! The experience is well worth it.

I love driving in the rain with the doors off and windows out. You barely even get wet, but if you do it is still fun.

Waterproof seat covers work great for that (as well as removing the carpet)...also, it really doesn't rain in a whole lot with the doors off...unless it's supposed to rain all day long, I just put the top up with the windows out. That way at least the electronics stay dry (radio, clock spring, etc).
