Am looking for new wife (age doesn't matter) with a 88 wrangler, 4.0 HO, lockers, lift, gears, recovery gear and sound bar/CD player.

Please send picture of Jeep............... ;-0

Dare2BSquare 02-19-2007 08:08 PM

Why you callin' me, Dare? Am I the forum bouncer now?

Ok Iquois, no pretending to chick shop when you're just looking for another jeep to be parked in your driveway.

(mine's an 05, Dare, and I have a great big guy who doesn't like to share)

ccain 02-19-2007 09:10 PM

If I can interject for just a minute.....

I've put considerable thought into this...

Average cost of courtship(<6 mos.) $728,426.59
Wedding (planned by bride): $852,459.99
Honeymoon (planned by bride): $128,768.59
Marriage Counseling: $15,234.00
Divorce: $154,695.00 plus court cost , not to mention half of your possessions.

Average cost of a 2007 WRANGLER RUBICON 2-DOOR 4X4 R Pkg (fully Loaded): $32,365

Without doing the math.....Just buy yourself a Jeep!:p

tiny terror 02-19-2007 09:15 PM

You hang with some high maintenance women. Vegas, sign the paperwork, spend the three day weekend lit in a hotel. Can't help you with the counseling and court costs.

ccain 02-19-2007 09:19 PM

Why Tiny!?!?!?!
Is that....a proposal?! ;)

tiny terror 02-19-2007 09:25 PM

was it??!?! did I say some magic word or something, cuz I'm in deep trouble if I did... :D

and so are you

Oh sure...the next thing you're gonna tell me is:
"It's not you...it's me" and "I hope we can still be friends!"

ROFLMAO:p :D

Thats ok...Some of us wear our scars on the INSIDE! :D

Wow, Tiny. I never pictured you as high maintenance. :p
I think our wedding, including rings, was about $100. His buddy, who acted as witness, bought us dinner afterwards then we drove home.;)

Laughing at all the guys who fell for women who had to have a wedding that cost as much as a freaking house and needed to go some place with sandy beaches for a week afterward.

that's a shame.... :D

I don't have that "it's me not you" filter. I missed that one at the factory. I got the "says everything out loud" button that they didn't mean to get out into the general public.

Lucky he didn't go for the chastity belt and the "she's mine" sign around your neck. :D

You mean that's not part of marriage?!?

Yeah, he knew better than to try something like that.:D

MouthfulOfGrass 02-20-2007 07:59 AM

We went shopping for her ring together. I was looking at the $150 rings, she asked "how about that $800 ring?". I saved for another month and got it. It's been bliss since, 20 years this year.

Funny, we seem to still shop like that.

tiny terror 02-20-2007 09:05 AM

Not dissing anyone's wives but I'll never understand the ring thing. Having a huge rock on your finger is not proof of anything.

But I don't like jewelry, never have. so don't take my word for it.

MOG, you just need to adopt this same line of thinking for your Jeep mods. :D Instead of that $300 BB, "How about this $1200 short arm kit with adjustable control arms?" :D :D :D

hardy1531 02-20-2007 06:40 PM

this thread makes me laugh!.

Ok so please don't bash me for what I am about to say......
I owned a Toyota 4-runner and blew the motor the same week I bought my wife's ring. She had no idea I was gona ask her. It cost me more for the ring then for the 6 cyl i put in the yota. oh by the way once I got it running (yota) i sold it for a ZJ.

Dare2BSquare 02-20-2007 08:12 PM

I sold my '63 Impala to buy my wife's ring. Man, I wish I had that car back!!!

Thirty one years though, I guess I got my money's worth out of her so far!!!

Iquois 02-20-2007 08:48 PM

Pulled over

I was pulled over by a policeman today for speeding!! Of course I was on my best behavior and the officer seeing that, told me that in his career he had heard every possible excuse in the world for speeding and that if I could tell him a reason that he hadn't heard before, he would let me go.

I thought, "man, what a break!", so I told him that my wife had run off a couple of weeks ago and from what I had heard, it was with a policeman. So when I looked in my rear view mirror and saw his car with the blue lights on, I thought he was the one and he was trying to bring her back..........

The officer said.........have a nice day :D

1BLKJP 02-20-2007 09:52 PM

A guy tells his wife one day....Tell me something that will make me both laugh and cry.

She thinks about it for a minute and then says:

You have a bigger johnson than your brother!!!!!!!!! :D

MR.CLIFFORD 02-20-2007 09:56 PM

I have a jeep who has her own jeep. I'm glad. Since mine never runs!!
