Wheelin' Tuttle Creek OCT 2/3rd...

When: Oct 2nd & 3rd.
Where: Tuttle Creek ORV
What: Wheelin' & Camping
Why: Duh.
Who: Well I'll be there. :D

Meet & Greet at Tuttle Creek, Bring your jeeps/trucks whatever you got. Camping gear, Wife and kids, dogs.

Post up if your going and when you'll be there. Or if you need to follow someone up. Because you know Jeep convoys are cool.

Me.....wife kids, and maybe the dogs.
I'll be there Saturday morn. Early.

cavediverjc 09-12-2010 06:16 PM

I'll try to be there. Gotta see what the GF's work schedule looks like for that weekend.

I'll also call a buddy who lives in Manhattan to see if he wants to meet us up there.

cavediverjc 09-12-2010 06:59 PM

Girlfriend has a weekend shift at the hospital, but I can probably come up that way for Saturday/Sunday.

MR.CLIFFORD 09-12-2010 07:17 PM

Got a guy coming to look at the wife's car. If we can track down a suitable JK then I will be there. Else... I'll just look at the pictures.

cavediverjc 09-12-2010 08:27 PM

I'll have a beer in honor of you, Andy. Maybe more than one. :D

distortedtj 09-12-2010 08:41 PM

MMMM beer, oh I mean...no I meant beer. :D

MR.CLIFFORD 09-12-2010 08:45 PM

I'm gonna have one in my honor right now.

My wife (or she will be that in 6 days) and my dog and I will be there. Anyone driving up from Wichita?

MR.CLIFFORD 09-12-2010 09:17 PM

What kind of dog?

A hot one.

Jetskifreak82 09-13-2010 09:13 PM

The dog is actually a maybe. If other dogs are there my dog turns into a mini hulk. It's annoying as hell. He's a Basinji mix, which is basically an African hunting dog. Think an athletic little ball of energy.

MR.CLIFFORD 09-13-2010 09:56 PM

Basinji's are cool. Cause they are quiet. :D

I have a spastic ball of energy that will ruin your ball of energy. :D

:D. We still need to get yours and mine together. I'm sure it will be quite entertaining.

cavediverjc 09-14-2010 05:34 AM

A Boxer and a Basenji together is a recipe for MAYHEM. That type of energy is undocumented. I would guess it would be about like the energy released when an atom is split.

RBatman 09-14-2010 06:18 AM

I know my wife can't come but I should be able to; still working out the kinks. If I make it I'll be up there early Sat. and try to find a camp site for the night. I have a friend from work that is planning on going with his GF and her daughter. What's the best camp ground in the area? Never camped out there. Also, I have a 7 month old pit bull terrier that can power a small town with her energy, may bring her with me.

FguyTJ 09-14-2010 06:30 PM

I'll have to talk it over with the wife, but I might be able to make it up. If we do go, we'll have the Jeep Castle tent and our 2 boxers, so won't be hard to miss! :flipoff:

I was thinking about ditching the wife and leaving the dumb dog at home. You should do the same.

distortedtj 09-14-2010 07:15 PM

So 3boxer and a basenji... should be real....entertaining.

Jetskifreak82 09-14-2010 07:30 PM

Not sure my wife wants me to bring to basenji. She gets real nervous when he is around other dogs, it wouldn't be any fun for her. If there were just one other dog maybe, but four might be a bit much. And although Draco is a basenji, he's also half something else that likes to bark a ton. He's definitely a barker unfortunately. So it sounds like most people are driving up early Saturday morning, wheeling all day Saturday, camping Saturday night and driving home Sunday? If that's the case, who's up for caravaning up from Wichita Saturday morning?

distortedtj 09-14-2010 07:35 PM

Head up sat morn.. set up camp...wheel...camp the night...wake up...wheel more...drive home maybe. it mite be on a trailer by then. :D

I'm leaving early saturday morn to head up. (but i'm military so my early mite not be yours). More than welcome to head up with. Any one is.

Jetskifreak82 09-14-2010 08:28 PM

Well I usually get up at 620 for work so if we met somewhere at say 7 am near park city that might work well.

cavediverjc 09-14-2010 09:41 PM

I'll probably just meet you all at a designated spot. I'll probably go back to Beloit that Friday night and tow the heap on a trailer from there to Tuttle.

As we get closer to that weekend, we'll need to decide where we're all going to meet. That or exchange phone numbers so we can meet up once we get there. Tim, I have yours and you've got mine, so you'll probably be my POC.

If I don't have a jeep to wheel by Rocktoberfest I might just take an extended test drive. :D

cavediverjc 09-14-2010 09:53 PM

What is this Rocktoberfest you speak of?

cavediverjc 09-14-2010 10:11 PM

Cool. Thanks. :D

RBatman 09-15-2010 06:02 AM
