Uwharrie Trip Sept 4-5

Sorry for getting these pictures up so late. Never had any time to upload them to my computer and also post them.
These pictures are from my Sept 4-6 URE trip with a local group, not too many of them and they are mainly posers but I thought I would go ahead and share them.

It was a great trip and I can't wait to do it again. Already making plans to go back Sept 24-26.

Never been to the flats. Where's it at? Is there a website for this place?
AS of now I'm not planning to go.

I'm not sure I know where the info you're telling me is located. Would there happen to be a link to it you could give me?

It's a playground of easy to extreme. There will be a group of jeeps that will be doing some if the easy to moderate stuff. For the most part all the trails are short but u get ur monies worth. And watching the buggies break stuff is fun too.

Wanted to go so bad but had family things going on....How far are the flats from Raleigh?

Now see. That's what I'm talking about. That brown mud on the side of the Jeep. Awesome. You should paint it like that.

Not sure about Raleigh but from Winston-Salem it's 102 miles. After seeing those numbers I don't think I'm prepared to drive that distance. I hate that I'm gunna have to miss out on the flats.

I love that looks too. About 80% of that mud came from the first night I was up there. Me and my buddy found a nice mudhole on the side of the road and couldn't resist the temptation. :D
