a lot of lift
i was wanting to put a soa and 6inch lift sping on the font and a 4link with a 10 inch strech on the back
can i keep my stock axles (dana 30/35 with a auburn posi)
and any ideas on how i could get tha streering right
how big of a drop pitman arm do i need
and will 35" tires look small or way to small with that much lift

First off 35 will look stupid small your talking of a setup for 44 but with 44 you'll need bigger axles but to answer your steering question look up a search for high steer set up

Six inch springs AND doing spring over!?!? That's 11-12 inches of lift. What are you trying to accomplish with the suspension? Are you rock crawling, mud bogging, or just trying to make it big to look cool? The 35" tires will look really small with that much lift. I would also go with full width axles with that amount of lift for the stability of it, plus if you ever plan on getting a set of tires to fill the void, you will need the stronger axles. If you only want to run 35"s, the 6" lift or SOA (with stock springs)on their own would be a perfect amount of lift.

I have a 90yj with 3 inch springs and an soa with 35in tires and it looks good in my opinion but you will need a sye and drivshaft to pull that off. As for the steering they make a conversion for the dana 30 to correct the angles. If you just add a drop pitman it will work but bumpsteer and handle like crap. Tell me how to post pics on here and i can show you what mine looks like. For real, Im that bad with this laptop.

Thats a lot of lift. My buddy has about 6" of spring on a SOA with a 44 up front and GM 12 bolt in rear. He's on 37's and the tires look small under it. The jeep sits high which is great for the mud. Goes back to the above question....what is your ultimate goal for the lift?

to have to take a ladder everywhere he goes just to get in his jeep! however, it would be good for the Hummer Huntin thread!

Stay on flat ground. You go offcamber or hit rocks and that thing will flop right over.
