How come no jeep night.

jezz we got bike night, hot-rod shine and show, why no JEEP night??

G-Pur 09-22-2010 07:03 PM

too many people with chrome and body lifts would show up.

jayc 09-22-2010 07:05 PM

I dont know we should start one in every state. There has been enough people from NC joining lately, I think you may be on to something.

GREEN-MACHINE 09-22-2010 07:10 PM

im going to have to ask more of the mass members to chime in on this. we could meet in the hight of aa blizzard (lol) alll joking aside i think it would be a good idea, to see what members have for mod's. home made tips and tricks. maybe i should ask one of the mod's to make it a sticky.

uselessllama 09-22-2010 07:23 PM

Find a local 4x4 shop that would support this. I'm sure they'd have no problem hosting, they'd probably even offer discounts if you buy during the 'jeep nights'.

RubiconRich 09-22-2010 08:44 PM

I could get Heberts candy Rt 20 in Shrewsbury ,Ma just not Thursday night. What night works?

uselessllama 09-22-2010 09:16 PM

Why not Friday night? Honestly, would you guys go every time if it was monthly, or like, once every three months for example? I'm not really sure myself, but I know I'd definitely go at least once, and if I had a good time probably again.

GREEN-MACHINE 09-23-2010 06:37 AM

i got crown automotive, next town over. his store is just for jeeps nothing else.

DakotaBuck 09-23-2010 06:44 AM

I would show up

Boosta 09-23-2010 06:44 AM

Another idea would be to have a few local 4X4 shops sponsor it at a restaurant bar type place like Quaker Steak and Lube because people could eat, drink and be merry, plus average folks can come and see all the glory of Jeep, thus buying more Jeeps and keeping this brand viable.

Boosta 09-23-2010 06:45 AM

But do you really mean Jeep night or Wrangler Night? Becasue Jeep night would bring out a whole bunch of other stuff too! LOL!

G-Pur 09-23-2010 09:37 AM

I'd show.

biffman 09-23-2010 09:52 AM

I just found out that a local 4x4 shop in our area sponsors a 4x4 shine and show once a year, and the local jeep club has another 4x4 show later in the summer. I missed them both this year.

Shrewsbury?? I dated a girl from there in high school, and boy did she live up to the towns name.

I WOULD SOOOO BE THERE! I'd be happy to help create flyers, FB, get the word out....if someone wants to get the ball rollin' in NC.

GREEN-MACHINE 09-23-2010 11:05 AM

Wrangler Night, yeah i should have been a lot clearer on that.

RubiconRich 09-24-2010 08:31 PM

Oh come on Wrangler night ?There would be no wranglers if it were not for the CJ's. and then take it back to 1941 Willys you got to have all the Jeeps.Heberts candy in Shrewsbury has a big field with icecream they have car shows there all the time. Easy to get to right on Rt 20 near 495 the mass pike Rt 9 etc. I can make the call.

dkw 09-29-2010 10:01 PM

i would most likely show up if it was at Heberts, im not too far from there

ollie526 09-30-2010 12:05 PM

One cool thing some of the groups do is have Wrench Fests. It could be worked into a meet up like this. For the guys who want to just admire the mods then can come at one time but if people want to come early they could help work on each others Jeeps. It'll be tougher as it gets colder, but it'd be a great idea either way. It's a matter of finding a place that's central and legally allows such an event. I know cops like to break up these things just because they see a group of people 'loitering' and think trouble.

RubiconRich 09-30-2010 07:22 PM

I sent a E-mail to Hebert's tonight asked about a Jeep night maybe a Friday. I'll keep you posted.

rs2010redrockjk 09-30-2010 07:35 PM

Why not all jeeps I go to bike night all the time and we welcome all brands. Do you only wave at wranglers? As a biker I wave at all bikes. So be acceptance of the Jeep brand as a whole.

G-Pur 10-01-2010 10:13 AM

I only wave to wranglers and lifted cherokees. They seem to know the tradition. I won't ever wave to a Compass, Patriot, or Commander. GC's don't wave, but if they did first, I'd wave back.

RubiconRich 10-01-2010 05:36 PM

I got a E-mail back from Hebert's Candy they seem up for it and want to talk to me. I think we got to have all Jeeps ,I'm a CJ7 guy but I have a TJ Rubicon too.

GREEN-MACHINE 10-01-2010 06:08 PM

RR keep me posted on how the talks go.

RubiconRich 10-05-2010 06:56 PM

I set up a meeting with Hebert's Candy on Friday 3pm I'll be there
talking to them.

What do you want me to ask them?

Do you want to try to get one in ASAP?
