Retro TJ?

I am thinking about painting my Jeep olive drab and and adding some flat fenders to it. I guess kind of retro style it a little, does that sound like a bad idea? I'm gonna talk to a good friend of mine with a shop and see what he thinks about it. Then we can start fabbin stuff up. Any thought's or idea's?

It would be cool, but you'd need rear tube fenders as well to help pull it off.

Heres hopin' that you do it! :D

Flat fender it, make an 'old style" dash, "sport style" rollbar(like the old jeeps), and paint it OD green.

just some ideas that I would do.

Thats what I'm thinking about doing I do want to leave the rollcage alone though if not upgrade to something stronger. The dash is gonna be the big thing since my air stopped working I think I'll just gut that and tur the compressor into an air compressor. I want to remove the dash and build a cust metal one with old school lokking autometer gauges. It'll take some time though
