JDsDream 09-26-2010 10:36 AM

And that is why I live in the South. I HATE being cold!!

Wally Meyers 09-26-2010 10:49 AM

:wavey: I also hate the cold! I live in the southeast corner of Wisconsin. My sister lives in Shakopee Minnesota, and whatever the weather is for her today I'll get tomorrow. She likes texting me and saying that I should get my snowblower ready because it's snowing like crazy at her house.

Hey Jeff. We have around 5 members meeting up for today's run. It seems a bit hot to me to be doing this but at least I have A/C. :p My son and I are going up around noon to meet up and have a couple hours of fun. See you next time.

Baja, 38 degrees is way too cold for me and 103 plus is too hot. What the heck!

KBR97 09-26-2010 12:25 PM

Beautiful 75 degrees today on Long Island.
Spent the day walking around Atlantic City Boardwalk yesterday..Sunny and 90 degrees.

Not for somebody that spends time in 90 derees plus 100 % humidity!

KBR97 09-26-2010 01:54 PM

Hey its been 90's all summer here!, lol.
I know what you mean though, when family from florida visits up here and its less than 80 or so they are breaking out sweatshirts and light jackets, lol.

Fweaky 09-26-2010 02:03 PM

F-that!!! My wife bitched all summer about being hot here in the east. I think she's having hot flashes:firedevil: I would take a 95 degree day anytime over 38 degrees. I live in an old house built in 1920 and don't run A/C upstairs so with the high tempertures it was a longer than normal summer at my house. Thank God I have a porch on the second story. I've been sleeping outside nekid for the last month.

coop42 09-26-2010 02:09 PM

I had family come up the long island to visit from houston this summer. they were dying from the heat!! Today is a nice 70 degrees!

QtMcShorty 09-26-2010 02:13 PM

95 here and tomorrow 100!!!!
Gotta love CA

no you dont, lol. Anything above 80 is too hot. Perfect weather is between 60 & 80, night and day.

nick50471 09-26-2010 03:47 PM

Baja I just returned from Turkey it was 95+ the entire time. I fly into Minneapolis this morning and 43. I like the cold. Let's get rid of the crops get the temp down to zero and start bird hunting.

sonofabeach 09-26-2010 06:43 PM

It's still balls hot here...and that's a good thing..
I'm still rockin' the Jeep topless and doorless...for a couple more months at least...then the brutal north Florida winter kicks in.

baja 09-26-2010 07:06 PM

Won't be long Nick, had a frost pattern on my windshield this morning. They are in the fields right now.

98-4Banger 09-26-2010 07:10 PM

try -15 to -25f up here in canada, morning walking outside is going to be hell, max 2 months before snow hits, and all hell breaks lose!

Fweaky 09-26-2010 07:43 PM

Man get outta there while you can!:D

KRawson 09-26-2010 07:47 PM

Ill trade you some Southern Cali. hot for some of your Iowa cold.
then we both can be happy campers.

Haha, below 30 is more like it for me. Doesn't get cold enough here in SC :flipoff:

redneckpilot 09-26-2010 07:57 PM

I would happily trade you. My job has me in Florida, and I miss Wisconsin winters. Actually I'd kill to go where there is even more snow, and mountains :)

elijah.caine 09-26-2010 07:59 PM

Haha about to go hop in the pool

dwfoulk1s 09-28-2010 01:14 AM

I love the cold. If you don't like it add clothes. Thats the beauty of winter. You can always get warmer. In the summer even naked is hot when you are outside. Spend lots of time outdoors w/ a good wind resistant coat and warm gloves so you get used to the cold and you discover how great it can be. So long as you are warm that is.

sonofabeach 09-28-2010 05:38 PM

To me I'd rather take clothes off..Seems like you can put on all the clothes you want but the cold gets thorough. But me I don't mind sweating although being hooked on nasal spray and the flu sounds very appealing.
