JK wheel opinion

HI all...

I test drove JK X today, and i'm really interested in it. I need some opinion on wheels though.

Should i just stick with the 16 standard wheel, or upgrade to 17"? The ones they have on lot were all 17", and they do look nice. I was wondering if 16" will look funny on the new JK, since they have more wheel well clearance than the old TJ.

Also, getting a bigger and wider tire is cheaper with 16". Does anybody happen to have pic of their JK on 16"....maybe with an upgraded tire too?

Tks

go with the wider tires, other wise it looks like your on donuts from the rear.

Even the Sahara with the 18" rims looks good with the 32.5"x12.5's

Yeah...i'm think i have to get wider tire, but should i stick with 16 or just go pay extra for 17" (is it worth it)....

What's the widest i can fit on JK X with 16" factory alloy wheel? (with no rubbing issue)

I would get the cheapest (I dont know if the bigger tires are extra) and change the rims n tires later on if you plan on lifting it later on

16's get my vote. Tire cost alone would keepme away from the other sizes.

Thanks all....after some research, What i'll get is JK X with S package (with air conditioning), and nothing else extra.

I'm planning to get a Pro Comp wheel (16" x 8), and get an A/T 285/75/16 tires on with no lift (i'm not panning on one).

Do you think (with no lift) this setup will work fine with no rubbing (even during turn)? I saw some pic from other forum with this exact setup, and they look really nice.

thanks for the input
