tires wheels for trade or sale

I am looking to trade my 17" pro comp knight chrome wheels on goodyear wranglers for a set of rubicon wheels and tires or a set of mud tires that will fit 17 inch rims. All sizes must fit factory jk set up. Attached is a picture of the tires and wheels. 7k miles on the tires I have now. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._2106590_n.jpg

I bet if you searched craigslist you could find a set of takeoffs for less than 300 bucks. You probably have more than 300 bucks in two of those wheels man.

Nope everyone around here wants 1100 bucks for their rubi take offs. I'm honestly looking for a set of mud tires for trade for the set that i can put on my factory rims.

Dude i have seen multiple takeoffs here in arkansas for 400 bucks or less, 1100 for takeoffs just sounds stupid lol

TTT. This is a good deal for someone looking for some decent rims. fyi the sensors are on them as well.

Same problem around here, Rubi takeoffs seem hard to come by around here, and when they pop up they want 8-900 for them...

Well the tires on a full set of 5 takeoffs are worth $900 alone not to mention the OEM wheels aren't cheep and look awesome......

$1100 isn't bad at all in my opinion I bought an extra set for $1200 shipped just cause it was like buying tires and getting a free set of wheels.....
If there are takeoffs for $300-$500 with less than 2k miles on them I will pay anyone $800 for every set of 5 and I will resell them for $1200 locally they move like hot cakes around here....

I have searched craigslist in a 400mile radius of Pittsburgh and NEVER have I seen a set for less than $900 in good shape.......
For wheels alone sure $300-$400 no problem but you want $900 in rubber to go with them for free????? Get real people.....

Nice jeep BTW

The thing is that when I was not looking I saw sets coming and going like crazy. If I'm going to spend over 1k on tires I'm going to get a new set with road hazard and what not... not a used set. The ones I'm seeing down here have about 60% tread left and still want over 1k dollars... that's just crazy IMHO. I'm looking for good used or basically new ones hince why I'm trading a set of pro comp wheels chrome with stock tires for them.

What's the backspace on your wheels?

Well i can see where you are coming from there... But those aren't "takeoffs" as commonly referred .....
A takeoff is something virtually new that was removed almost immediately after purchase, at least that's what I have come to understand it as..... if its not like new its not a takeoff its a USED item.....

Takeoffs should range between $900-$1300.....
Used tires in my book are a waste and are only worth a fraction of what the new ones are (like the prorating of mileage warranties) ......
a tire with 60% tread is only worth 15% of what the equivalent new tire is worth.....

Well let's get this thread back on track.. The wheels and tires I have are still up for trade.. even for a set of 5 mud tires that will fit stock rims. <<< I bedlined my stockers. So if anyone is interested just pm me or reply here.

bigjay0512 10-21-2010 11:30 AM

how much are you asking?

kwchiro 10-21-2010 11:44 AM

I'm open to offers... keep in mind If I sell them I need to replace them with mud tires. Just pm me an offer and Ill see. I will not ship however that's the problem.

kwchiro 10-23-2010 10:55 AM

In response to a previous offer.. in case I didn't make it clear enough I am not trading my wheels for a set of factory wheels. I'm looking for tires. I will also sell these if anyone has an offer.
