This applies for all of you

Hey everyone, My name is JAke and I just wanted to say hello. I Just bought an 03 "freedome edition" wrangler. To be honest I know very little about jeeps and 4wd vehicles in general. I Am excited to meet you all and soak up some information. There may be an introduction section of the forum but i figured this might get the most exposure here.

The first thing you should learn about four wheel drive vehicles...Scratches, Dents, and broken parts are a good thing. As long as they happen on the trail.

Welcome to the world of Jeepin'

Glad to have you along! I remember my first Wrangler, a 2001 SE five-speed, and I remember how little I knew as well. One of my initial challenges was not being afraid to take the vehicle further than I thought it could go. I just didn't understand the tremendous capabilities of a Wrangler. And, as "daddyjeep" says, scratches, dents, and broken parts are a good thing. The beautiful thing is there's a world of Jeep owners who will provide a wealth of information for you and no one will ever look down on you. Jeep owners are a tight knit "family" of caring people who will do all they can to help you. Welcome to the forum.
