Budget Boost

so im gettin some cash from some landscaping work im doing for a buddy plus christmas is comin up and i was looking into getting a Skyjacker 2" BB with Hydro or Nitro shocks and some spacers to level out the front. and i was wondering if anyone has this setup on their rig. is it worth it? or should i just save up more cash til i have enough for like a 3" or 4" and the sye/driveshaft? how would that look with my 31's?

or should i just say screw the lift, get a snorkel kit and Chadwick it! (just kidding)

I'm pretty sure it is not recommended to do a spacer lift (budget boost) and stack another spacer to level the front. You could do a 2" spring lift and add a 3/4" spacer in front to level it - that is what I did. Then add a small body lift and you can run 33s. Or go with a 3" or 4" lift and run 33s without the BL. Don't forget longer shocks and bump stops.

what about getting the BB and replacing the spacers it came with with bigger ones for the front? would that work?

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think you want to go with more than 2" on a spacer. If you went 2" in front and 1" in rear I suppose that would be okay.

I like your idea of saving up and doing it right the first time. You're going to want 33s at least so I suggest you build with that in mind.

i just spent around 900 on my 31s so im going to keep those for a while. would those look good with like a 3 or 4 inch suspension?

They will look a little small IMO - not terrible though, and you will have plenty of room to flex for sure.
